The same goes for all those who feel the need to bash at flight attendants for just doing their job. I understand that the extra publicity is only because he is a Baldwin, the way I also understand that because of who he is, he feels he has some type of authority over everyone else, by instance the problem we are now addressing. The celebrities that have made the news over this issue say the fly everyday and how is this possible, well if you fly everyday, celebrity or not, you should be aware of FAA regulations. Those who tweet about it turned off their phone without the scandal of being kicked off the plane, and if they did (get kicked off) then like you said they are “nobody”, making it difficult for me to blog about them.
“The APFA has requested that American Airlines remove the show from future flights, but would be agreeable to implementing it again if, and only if, Mr. Baldwin publicly apologizes to American Airlines flight attendants,” reads a statement from the group.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? this has to stop!, I am aware of flight attendants that do take some type of militant persona during flights and some have even become disrespectful towards passsengers during that face of the flight, but Mr. Baldwin stop addressing flight attendant as if we are sick bastards that are here to make your life miserable. Our job is to protect our passengers, it is an FAA regulation that all electronic devices be turned off as soon as the boarding door is closed. We are not making this up, its not to make your life miserable and its not personal. Just as how you choose to ridicule these “people” for doing their job, we choose to speak for ourselves. I AM HONESTLY TIRED! of everything being blamed on us Flight Attendants, its not our fault that you have to go through security, that you have to throw away your best perfume because the bottle is too big, that you have to wait till you get out to baggage claim in order to see your loved ones, that you cant smoke on the aircraft, that the bathrooms are so stinking gross, that we dont serve a full meal in a 1hr 30min flight, but here I am apologizing for doing my job! I work daily with business man/woman that their job depends on being on the phone 24/7 and traveling, but they know that as soon as i close the door their electronic devices must be turned off. THEY, Mr Baldwin and Juliana whatever her name is from E!, TRAVEL EVERYDAY. We travel everyday.
I do think that “some” flight attendants take that part a little too hard, Reason why I try to do it with a sense of humor, now, if by the second time they keep on “playing” with their phones or whatever it is i do get a little serious. ITS MY JOB dear celebrities. IF I DONT GO TO YOUR SET AND START YELLING “CUT!”, whenever you’ve had a 9 hour work day and your’e ready to get done with it, PLEASE RESPECT MINE.
And yes Im taking this personal because when you where addressing this problem, you didn’t point out to that AMERICAN AIRLINES flight attendants. YOU SAID “FLIGHT ATTENDANTS”. I am proud to work for my airline, and although sometimes i might be in a bad mood, or sick or maybe in that time of the month, i try to endure all of it and put on a smile, for the sake of my job and my passenger, because we’re human beings and I know none of these people are responsible for my bad day. Why dont you talk about that, why dont you say how nice that other flight attendants were on that last flight i took?. But once ONE makes a mistake all good is forgotten.
